The launch of NIOH

 

On the 12th of November 2019, Australia’s first Nework for the Integration of Oral Health had its launch at the 2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Victoria.

This launch was attended by various organisations, researchers and policy makers from across the country, and was inaugurated by A/Prof Erin Hartnett, the program director of Oral Health Nursing Education and Practice at New York University.

Key presentations were also provided by A/Prof Rachel Martin, Prof Hanny Calache, and A/Prof Ajesh George. This launch was supported by the US National Interprofessional Inititative on Oral Health (NIIOH).

Researcher Support

This launch was supported by researchers around the country, including Dr Meng-Wong Tiang, who submitted a video to explain how NIOH could benefit him.
